  • The Proclamation of London by Francis Parker Yockey now available for pre-order

Posted on December 9, 2011 by Jaenelle Antas

Now available for pre-order is the Memorial Edition of Francis Parker Yockey's The Proclamation of London. Due for release in January 2012, this hardcover edition from The Palingenesis Project (and imprint of Wermod & Wermod Publishing), is guaranteed to impress.

Written in 1949, this was Yockey's manifesto for his then newly formed group, the European Liberation Front. As such, it distills the ideas developed in his neo-Spenglerian magnum opus, the 600-page Imperium.

The Proclamation was initially circulated in pamphlet form, as did the few, fugacious reprints that appeared in the decades following. With this beautiful Memorial Edition, this will be the first time that this important text, unique in the English language, appears in a durable, library-grade format, for the benefit of Yockeyists, collectors, and researchers alike.

This edition is prefaced with a major introductory essay by Michael O'Meara, along with Kerry Bolton, the world's leading Yockeyist. It also contains illustrated sections, dozens of footnotes, a detailed index, and cover artwork by the talented Alex Kurtagic.

If you pre-order, you can take advantage of a 20% off discount. We expect this book to be ready to ship by late January.

  • Dirty books? Clean them up!

Posted on October 4, 2011 by Jaenelle Antas

If you are a collector of books, you probably like to keep your collection looking pristine and beautiful. But if you also like to read them, sometimes they can get dirty. The edges of the pages will get grimy and the dust cover will get scruffy and that's just no good. Sometimes you may buy a rare and hard to find book and find it is not in perfect condition. So what's a book lover to do?

First, if you have a beloved book with a dust cover that is in good condition, you should take preventative measures to protect it. Brodart has some excellent jacket protectors, both permanent and reusable. You should especially use some kind of jacket protector if your book has any collectible value, for example, if it is a first edition or is autographed. They also have some protectors for paperbacks, as well, if you like to keep those looking nice.

If your dust jacket is already looking scruffy, you can clean it up a bit. You can't do much for a torn jacket, but if it is simply dirty, you can clean it. Take a sturdy paper towel and dampen it slightly with Pledge furniture cleaner. Gently wipe down the glossy side of the dust jacket. Most dirt with come off and light abrasions will buff out. (Do not do this on non-glossy jackets!) If the jacket feels a bit oily after you've cleaned it, wipe it down again with a dry paper towel and let it sit out to dry for a little bit.

To clean dirty page edges, you can erase most stains with... a piece of bread! I like to use a flimsy white bread, like Wonder Bread or some such. Hold the book tightly together (perhaps over a sink or trash can) and gently rub the page edges with the bread. The bread will crumble and flake, but the stains will come right off. Just be sure to keep a good grip on the book so that the crumbs do not get in between the pages.

If you have a book that smells a bit musty, you can often eliminate or significantly reduce the smell by storing the book with dryer sheets between the pages for a few days (NOT indefinitely). How long you want to leave them there depends on how bad the smell is.

With a little luck and a little elbow grease, you should be able to keep your book collection in good condition for many years to come.

  • New title by David Irving

Posted on July 28, 2011 by Jaenelle Antas

Earlier this month, British author and historian David Irving put out a new book, The Night the Dams Burst.

Originally written in 1967 as a serial for the Sunday Express in London, it was later released as a book only in German. For the first time ever, it is now available in English. Fans of Mr Irving's work will certainly want to add this new title to their collection.

The story follows the British scientist and inventor, Barnes Wallis, in his uphill battle to win support for his "bouncing bomb"- a truly innovative piece of weaponry- and the subsequent moonlight attacks by RAF Bomber Command on Germany's Ruhr dams, which caused massive flooding and shut down many of their steel mills at a crucial time during the war.

In my past work with Mr Irving, I often encountered fans who wished there was more literature on WWII accessible to younger readers. Many of them had children who would come along to the lectures, children who always struck me as bright and inquisitive, but who were too young yet to read the massive tomes that make up the bulk of Mr Irving's library. This book is an exception. At 144 pages and with a larger font, a child of 10 or 12 can easily read and enjoy this book.

Until the end of August, we will offer this title at 20% off. We will also shortly be making this title available in the Free Books section, so feel free to try before you buy.

  • Metaphysics of War now in stock

Posted on July 27, 2011 by Jaenelle Antas

We are now stocking Julius Evola's Metaphysics of War, published by Arktos.

This new 2011 3rd edition has been extensively revised. The translation and layout have been improved and several footnotes have been added or expanded since the second edition.

Metaphysics contains 16 essays on the heroic aspects of war and combat, as viewed from a traditionalist perspective. These essays were written between 1935 and 1950 at the height of European fascism and represent a major development in Evola's philosophy.

For those unfamiliar with Evola or with this particular collection of essays, I would like to share this link to an excellent review posted at rosenoire.org by David J. Wingfield who gives a much better overview and critique than I am capable of.

We will offer this new title at a special sale price until August 3rd.

  • Signed copies of Otto Strasser biography available

Posted on July 25, 2011 by Jaenelle Antas

By popular request, we now have in stock Troy Southgate's biography of Otto Strasser.

Otto Strasser: The Life and Times of a German Socialist is a special import from United Kingdom and all copies have been signed by the author. Another added bonus in this book are the exclusive photo plates supplied by Strasser's own son.

This hard to find collectible is a fascinating look at one of Germany's most intriguing revolutionary ideologues, whose brand of German socialism put him at odds with the Third Reich.

The author, a leading figure in the European New Right, states in his introduction that Strasser was a highly influential figure in his life. In fact, Strasser's legacy influenced several new generations of nationalist thinkers all over Europe and more recently in North America, as well. Given the prominence of his ideas in varying brands of modern racially conscious thought, we offer this book as essential reading for anyone interested in the evolution of pro-white political ideologies.

  • Announcing new Lothrop Stoddard editions

Posted on June 7, 2011 by Jaenelle Antas

The French Revolution in San Domingo - Lothrop StoddardThe Revolt Against Civilization - Lothrop StoddardNew today are the 2011 reprinted editions of two classic Lothrop Stoddard works. These new editions, published by the Palingenesis Project, an imprint of Wermod & Wermod Publishing, are perhaps the best editions of these titles available.

While other editions are cheap and unattractive reprints, many with numerous scanning errors or even missing pages, these new editions from the Palingenesis Project offer much more. These editions have been meticulously put together and are hardbound with dust-jackets beautifully illustrated by Alex Kurtagić. New indexes have been painstakingly added, as the original editions did not include them. Footnotes and other references have been modernised and in some cases, additional footnotes for further clarification and context have been added. Each of these titles contains a scholarly introduction from Professor Kevin MacDonald. Collectors of books will find both of these to be well worth acquiring.

The Revolt Against Civilization: The Menace of the Under-Man is an examination of how dysgenic tendencies in a population tend to foment egalitarian revolutions, such as the Bolshevik revolution, and drag the whole of society down to the lowest common denominator. Stoddard remarks that these same tendencies are a ticking time bomb in America and prescribes active policy changes to stop and reverse such trends and create a merit based society. Now more than ever, his predictions and prescriptions ring true. Highly recommended for those interested in eugenics and human bio-diversity.

The French Revolution in San Domingo is the true story of how the colony that was the richest jewel of the French empire became the poorest nation on earth. The race war that took place in the 1790s in what is now called Haiti took place over fifteen years of bloody conflict and resulted in the total slaughter of the French and the independence of what is now a dysfunctional and failed state. Stoddard duly notes every atrocity, but also illustrates how the white French were the architects of their own misfortune. Readers of this book will find many parallels between then and now, as the revolt in Haiti was only one of the first of many multicultural experiments to go horribly awry.
